A few remarks about my professional career

Conveying your language authentically is fundamental to your international business success, regardless of whether you need an authentic translation of specialist product manuals or linguistic precision in business negotiations.

As a French woman who has been living in Germany for many years, I have developed such an excellent feeling for the German language that you can rest assured that your translation and interpreting job will be in the best of hands.

  • I was born and grew up in Paris
  • I studied at the Université Paris IV Sorbonne, Paris: Diploma in Applied Foreign Languages (“Maîtrise de L.E.A.”)
  • I have lived in Germany since 1999
  • I studied interpreting at the University of Saarland, Saarbrücken: Diploma: “Diplom-Dolmetscherin”, i.e. a master’s degree in interpreting with a specialisation in business
  • Regular employment contracts as an interpreter and translator at companies in the high-tech industry
  • Since 2005 freelance work as an interpreter / translator for committees (Fédération Française Handisport, among others), government authorities (Federal Ministry of Defence, German Department for Foreign Affairs among others), political parties (Déi Gréng, among others), conferences (UNICA, among others) and companies – from SME sector companies (DTS GmbH, among others) to large corporations (Deutsche Post AG, among others)
  • Working as a freelance journalist for the "Deutsch-Französische Industrie- und Handelskammer" (German-French Chamber of Industry and Commerce)
  • I am a member of the BDÜ (Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators) and of the VKD (German Association of Interpreters)
